Wonderful corner unit -- enjoy the Kauai trade winds with the distinctive louvers on the sidewalls in the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. The rooms all have dramatic vaulted ceilings lending to a Polynesian atmosphere.
Enjoy the lanai for meals, lounging and a peaceful place to relax while the monkeypod tree slowly sways in the breeze.
This unit is truly a home away from home at a resort that has the best location in all of Poipu Beach. Kiahuna Plantation is the only resort in Poipu that is located on a swimming beach. It has it’s own on-site restaurant, pool, tennis courts and gym facility. World class dining and shopping is within walking distance.

The condo was perfect for our needs. It was up to date, clean, and full of accommodations. A fully stocked kitchen, cable TV, beach equipment, beach chairs, boogie board, snorkel gear,etc. It also had a Bose surround sound system that my Iphone/Ipad connected too. The location of the condo can't be beat either! A perfect beach out front, and across the street from some of the best restaurants and stores in Poipu. We had a perfect trip to Kauai and this property was perfect for us!

Owner Jed was great, always responded quickly to any questions. Provided a late check out at no charge. I contacted maintenance man Mark as microwave power was out, he was willing to come right away or at a time that worked for us. We resolved problem ourselves (plug was loose in cupboard above) So I called him to cancel request. Although not part of your team, we found outrigger staff pleasant as well.

We never did receive the mailed welcome packet so I would just suggest sending an email a few days before scheduled stays to confirm that guests did get their keys, etc. We dealt with it once we were on the property and all was resolved quickly so, ultimately, it wasn't a big inconvenience.

The property is amazing. The grounds are absolutely immaculate. The unit is well stocked. The king bed is so comfortable. The shade from the tree is so welcome. We ate every meal on the deck. With no air conditioning the windows need to be open the whole time and sound travels there so if you get loud tenants beside or below you it is unfortunate. Otherwise it is so quiet and peaceful. The location is excellent- very central to everything in Poipu. Short walk to beach and pool.

RESERVATIONS AND DEPOSITS:
All reservations require a 25% payment to hold chosen dates.
• 45 days prior to arrival, the remaining balance is due in full
CANCELLATION POLICIES:
• Reservations cancelled 2 days or more prior to arrival date are 100% refundable.
Hawaii Laws require that GET (4.5%) and TAT (10.25%) taxes apply to the cleaning fee.

As of September 24, 2020, the following special rules apply for travel to Kauai from off island.
- Guests agree to comply with all of the state and local rules, including when required by emergency proclamation, taking a COVID-19 test from a state approved lab no more than 72 hours prior to traveling to Kauai in accordance with the government requirements. Guest will also be able to provide Koloa Kai with proof of compliance with the government rules.
- Guests acknowledge that if they are unable or unwilling to comply with the rules allowing them to skip quarantine, and therefore are subject ot the mandatory 10 day traveler quarantine, that Koloa Kai will not be able to host you, and will have to cancel your reservation and provide you with a 100% refund.
