Ancient monkeypod tree offers seclusion and comforting shade providing for a treehouse setting for this second story hideaway on one of Southern Kauai's most loved resorts -- Kiahuna Plantation.  

*UPDATED COVID-19 MEASURES* (1) We have implemented new cleaning protocols: new cleaning products chosen for virus-killing properties, the emphasis of sanitizing high-touch areas, Cleaning Staff Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - masks, gloves, sanitizing before/after cleaning.  (2) 24 hours between reservations on all new reservations after April 1, 2020. (3) No more same-day check-in/check-out reservations.

Wonderful corner unit -- enjoy the Kauai trade winds with the distinctive louvers on the sidewalls in the kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom.  The rooms all have dramatic vaulted ceilings lending to a Polynesian atmosphere.    

Enjoy the lanai for meals, lounging, and a peaceful place to relax while the monkeypod tree slowly sways in the breeze.

This unit is truly a home away from home at a resort that has the best location in all of Poipu Beach. Kiahuna Plantation is the only resort in Poipu that is located on a swimming beach. It has its own on-site restaurant, pool, tennis courts, and gym facility. World-class dining and shopping are within walking distance.

This condo is conveniently located, you can literally walk across the street and have Starbucks, gelato, grocery store & lots of restaurants. So if you dont have a car, I dont think its the end of the world. The beach was super packed our first day. But the rest of our stay it was pretty open, we loved snorkeling, paddle boarding and staying outdoors all day! The pool isnt as nice as the pictures in my opinion, lots of kids and looked a little merky. Haha but we didnt fly to Hawaii for the pool so we didnt mind. If you have kids, its a great place to take them, you can order drinks/food from the restaurant attached. Kitchen has some extra goodies from previous renters (salt pepper hot sauce etc). Overall we loved our stay here and found the treehouse to be quite peaceful. 10/10 recommend.

This unit is in a quiet, very pretty part of the resort. Nice that it is a corner. The bath towels are thick and soft and there were a lot of them. The bed was super comfy. Short walk to the beach where you can swim and/or watch the sunsets (which are beautiful!). The onsite restaurant is closed (we were told maybe permanently) which was disappointing as our friends recommended it prior to our trip. We enjoyed our stay very much.

while the emails and welcome packets were all helpful, at times, it became quite excessive the amount of information and emails that were sent to us. It required us to have to keep track of a lot of emails and sift through a lot of info. Also, a first aid kit would be useful.

Kiahuna Plantation 236 was the perfect location for our visit to Kauai. The unit is clean, comfortable, and stocked with beach gear and kitchen supplies. SPECIAL TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR COVID-19 PANDEMIC.
As of September 24, 2020, the following special rules apply for travel to Kauai from off-island.  
  1. Guests agree to comply with all of the state and local rules, including when required by emergency proclamation, taking a COVID-19 test from a state-approved lab no more than 72 hours prior to traveling to Kauai in accordance with the government requirements.  Guest will also be able to provide Koloa Kai with proof of compliance with the government rules.
  2. Guests acknowledge that if they are unable or unwilling to comply with the rules allowing them to skip quarantine, and therefore are subject to the mandatory 10-day traveler quarantine, that Koloa Kai will not be able to host you, and will have to cancel your reservation and provide you with a 100% refund.

All reservations require a 25% payment to hold chosen dates.
