All your staff were excellent. We were staying in condos on Turtle Bay Golf Course in Oahu before we came to Kauai and the other rental company's communication was definitely not the same as Koloa Kai. Their information emails were almost threatening and didnt make you feel welcome at all. The place was definitely not as nice but cost more which was funny considering how they wrote a massive list of what NOT to do. I said I wouldn't recommend their condo and wouldnt you know it, the review wouldn't submit. I sent the email another way and no one bothered to respond. Never going back there.

I have been to Kauai / Poipu many times but my partner had never been. Kiahuna Plantation has the best location in my opinion. No real complaints at all other than the fan in the bedroom was possessed and suddenly sped loudly, stopped and sped up again each morning around 7 am.

I think this is the best place weve ever stayedreally wish wed booked our entire trip here (vs our south/north shore split). I think my only suggestion would be to have a recycling bin in the unit! Mahalo for a wonderful few days in Koloa!

Incredible place! the pictures dont do it justice. We especially loved the lanai - the perfect view for sipping coffee, and we enjoyed the rooster and cat visitors! Walking distance to the beach and to restaurants, it was plenty of space for my husband and me, and the kitchen was well outfitted for cooking a few meals in (we especially appreciated the large coffee pot). Absolutely would stay again!

Great Condo in Beautiful Kiahuna Plantation This we our fifth stay at Kiahuna Plantation, our first at this condo. The condo is clean and well equipped with the basics. Nice view of the cactus garden, and in the distance you can see the ocean through a gap in the Sheraton. The ground floor location of the condo worked well for my mobility challenges. We really enjoyed our time at this little condo. It was very clean and had all the additional amenities youd need for a condo stay. The kitchen had oil, s&p, vinegar, and such even had boogie boards to borrow. My husband and I enjoyed a few days here in March. The condo is just a 5 min walk to a beautiful beach through a lovely cactus garden and well-maintained property. It is clean and well-stocked if you want to cook in. Across the street are several good places to eat and shops. RESPONSIBILITY 
Guest hereby assumes all risk of damage to any and all personal property of  Property Owner / Koloa Kai Vacation Rentals, including household furniture and goods during such use and occupancy.  Guest hereby assumes any and all risks associated with the foregoing and agrees to hold Property Owner / Koloa Kai Vacation Rentals harmless from and indemnify  Property Owner/ Koloa Kai Vacation Rentals against the same.

USE 
It is agreed that the Premises shall be used only for residential purposes, no animals, and for no other purpose whatsoever. Guest in his possession, use, and occupancy of the Premises agree to observe and comply with all restrictions, laws, and ordinances affecting the Premises or occupancy thereof. Guest further agrees that no use shall be made of the Premises, or acts done which will increase the existing rate of insurance upon the Premises, or will cause a cancellation of any insurance policy covering the Premises.

PESTS:
Kauai is in a climate that is considered to be both tropical and within a rainforest category, known for its lush flora and fauna.  The environmental factors create a situation where pests (insects) are nearly impossible to eradicate from every property constantly.  Many bugs fly in when a door is open at night or are simply small enough to come in through screens on windows and sliding doors.  For this reason, Koloa Kai engages regular quarterly pest control in every property to keep the pests at bay.  Despite these efforts, it is possible to have pests in your property, and if that happens, Koloa Kai will take all measures possible as quickly as possible to mitigate any issues.  Any monetary compensation, refunds or discounts will be given solely at the discretion of Koloa Kai and will only be available in situations where the company agrees that an infestation has occurred.  Koloa Kai reserves the right to investigate and provide remediation of any pest issue. The mere presence of pests in the property shall not constitute grounds for monetary compensation.

30-DAY MAXIMUM RENTALS:
Koloa Kai LLC provides only short-term rentals with a maximum reservation of 30 days.  Each reservation is fully documented and provides for a fixed date and time for check-in and check-out, rental rates, associated fees, and all other requirements required by local and state law.  If a guest books consecutive reservations where the check-out and check-in dates are concurrent, then a cleaning fee will be assessed, and a Koloa Kai designated cleaning professional/inspector will have unrestricted access to the property for the purposes of cleaning and inspection of the property.  During the time between reservations, described by the check-out time and check-in time specifically, the guests shall vacate the property so that the designated cleaning professional/inspector can conduct a full reservation clean and inspection in accordance with Koloa Kai’s standard practice.  Guest access to the property shall be restricted specifically to the date/times of the reservation documentation and may not be extended upon verbal or text message confirmation.  

Smoking is not permitted in any residence. A $300 fee may be charged for ionization if smoking in the property is detected.
