Great location, comfortable stay, and amazing ocean view
This place was so well located! We loved the Poipu athletic club across the street as it had a baby pool for our infant. The staff here was in constant communication with us and made our stay memorable. Theres no a/c at this property but that wasnt an issue for us as plenty of fans were provided and there was cool ocean air that kept the condo cool at nighttime.

Wonderful resort property with beautiful grounds. Great view of the ocean from the lanai. Many shops and restaurants are within walking distance. Condo furnishings were as described. The Interior could use a bit of an update.

Fantastic location and friendly staff
We stayed for a week and had an absolutely wonderful time. Close walk to a great beach, a close walk, or a short drive to lots of good shops and food! The nearby pool at the athletics club was fun to hang around and have a bite/drink, definitely great for kids. The condo itself matched the pictures and met expectations!

We stayed 3 nights in Kiahuna Plantation KP 106 en we enjoyed every second. The unit is at the edge of the resort, which we like, with parking conveniently close by, and the beach is on a short walk through the beautiful resort. The unit has everything we needed and is in good condition. For our next visit to Kauai, we will definitely come back here. No doubt.

Unsure where to stay we were told Poipu was a great beach destination for kids. We fell in love with the location and people. Loved the clubhouse and amenities. The Kaihuna plantation was amazing! Our first time on Kauai we were not sure where to stay. We were so happy with our choice. The location was close to the beach club across the way ( not far at all). The amenities are great, met a lot of locals which were so nice. The beach was a 3 minutes walk, and we enjoyed the waves and the snorkel area. The kids loved the beach and riding the waves, boogie boarding and watching the surfers. We even swam with a turtle We will stay here again when we visit Kauai.

Many bugs fly in when a door is open at night or are simply small enough to come in through screens on windows and sliding doors. For this reason, Koloa Kai engages regular quarterly pest control in every property to keep the pests at bay. Despite these efforts, it is possible to have pests in your property, and if that happens, Koloa Kai will take all measures possible as quickly as possible to mitigate any issues. Any monetary compensation, refunds or discounts will be given solely at the discretion of Koloa Kai and will only be available in situations where the company agrees that an infestation has occurred. Koloa Kai reserves the right to investigate and provide remediation of any pest issue. The mere presence of pests in the property shall not constitute grounds for monetary compensation.
30-DAY MAXIMUM RENTALS:
Koloa Kai LLC provides only short-term rentals with a maximum reservation of 30 days. Each reservation is fully documented and provides for a fixed date and time for check-in and check-out, rental rates, associated fees, and all other requirements required by local and state law. If a guest books consecutive reservations where the check-out and check-in dates are concurrent, then a cleaning fee will be assessed, and a Koloa Kai designated cleaning professional/inspector will have unrestricted access to the property for the purposes of cleaning and inspection of the property. During the time between reservations, described by the check-out time and check-in time specifically, the guests shall vacate the property so that the designated cleaning professional/inspector can conduct a full reservation clean and inspection in accordance with Koloa Kai’s standard practice. Guest access to the property shall be restricted specifically to the date/times of the reservation documentation and may not be extended upon verbal or text message confirmation.
Hawaii Laws require that GET (4.712%), Kauai TAT (3%) and TAT (10.25%) taxes apply to the cleaning fees.
