The location of this condo could not be beaten. It was quiet, with plenty of parking, but such a short walk (with toddlers!) to the beach. The pool has an amazing ocean view. The condo itself was clean with plenty of linens, extra pillows, pots/pans, utensils, and even Tupperware. The air conditioning worked great, check-in was easy and I loved the keyless entry (no keys at the beach to lose!). Id stay here again 100%

Great place, a great location We had such a great time in Kauai - the condo was perfect for everything we needed. The location was great and walkable to the beach, the community was really nice and pretty quiet. We alternated between the beach and the pool (the pool was never crowded, which was nice). The condo was stocked with what we needed and the in-unit laundry was a huge plus. Spacious, comfortable, perfect This property was excellent! Comfortably fit my family and my friend's family with multiple small children. The upstairs is spacious and so comfortable. The downstairs was also spacious and offered excellent privacy for two families with multiple small children. It was excellently cleaned and excellently stocked with linens, soap, shower necessities, kitchen necessities for cleaning, etc. Parking and finding the condo were so easy as well. We absolutely loved staying here. No excessive charges or hidden fees. So comfortable, and clean and the space felt big. The outdoor space is not to be understated! It adds a lot of comfortable living space. We had multiple small children and it was safe and fun and lovely. The extra amenities like beach chairs, towels, toys and a cooler, and even a baby potty were big bonuses. Would love to see a high chair or porta-crib added to the amenities. We would definitely stay here again, a wonderful experience. we had everything we needed in the unit and never needed to call maintenance. The pool was great, and the nearby beaches, things to do, and restaurants and shops were lovely. I also loved renting from this owner because the instructions for check-in and check-out and use of the property were so detailed, easy to access on my phone, and fully comprised of everything I needed to know, I never needed any help. This was the perfect vacation rental for our trip to Kauai. The condo was clean, and comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. The location is really convenient, especially with the very short walk to Poipu beach. Our favorite parts about staying in this unit were the gorgeous sunset view from the lanai and the pool with an ocean view. Also, the air conditioning is a major bonus, as it was 80-90 during our trip. We would definitely love to stay here again.

Beautiful space with a view of the ocean We booked this for a trip celebrating my daughter's high school graduation, and I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Kauai. You can walk to the beach, Puka Dogs or the Beach Broiler, it's got a fantastic lanai where we drank coffee, and it was well-appointed and comfortable. Not relevant to the property, but you really have to rent a car in Kauai, because it's not urban, but this place has ample parking. We had just come from a fairly tight condo in Oahu and it was nice to spread out. I was also grateful for the air conditioning - while Kauai is not as humid as our hometown, it does get a little toasty. The oven doesn't warm particularly quickly, but that was not really relevant to us because we only cooked one night. I mean, I'm really struggling to find constructive input, because the place was clean and in great condition and just lovely. The place was fantastic, the owners made it clear they were available if we needed them, and they communicated clearly and regularly in the lead-up to the trip. Great place! It is so close to the beach. We walked down every afternoon to watch the sunset and turtles eating on the rocks. The pool is nice, the grills were clean, and the parking was easy. Great proximity to restaurants and shops. Amazing view of the ocean from the lanai where we drank our coffee every morning. They had a closet full of beach gear. The couch also pulls out into a bed. Great place and we will definitely stay again.

Location was very walkable to Brennecke and Poipu beach which was very nice. The unit had everything we needed. We had some ants in the kitchen but it was not too bad.

PESTS:
Kauai is in a climate that is considered to be both tropical and within a rainforest category, known for its lush flora and fauna.  The environmental factors create a situation where pests (insects) are nearly impossible to eradicate from every property constantly.  Many bugs fly in when a door is open at night or are simply small enough to come in through screens on windows and sliding doors.  For this reason, Koloa Kai engages regular quarterly pest control in every property to keep the pests at bay.  Despite these efforts, it is possible to have pests in your property, and if that happens, Koloa Kai will take all measures possible as quickly as possible to mitigate any issues.  Any monetary compensation, refunds or discounts will be given solely at the discretion of Koloa Kai and will only be available in situations where the company agrees that an infestation has occurred.  Koloa Kai reserves the right to investigate and provide remediation of any pest issue. The mere presence of pests in the property shall not constitute grounds for monetary compensation.

30-DAY MAXIMUM RENTALS:
Koloa Kai LLC provides only short-term rentals with a maximum reservation of 30 days.  Each reservation is fully documented and provides for a fixed date and time for check-in and check-out, rental rates, associated fees, and all other requirements required by local and state law.  If a guest books consecutive reservations where the check-out and check-in dates are concurrent, then a cleaning fee will be assessed, and a Koloa Kai designated cleaning professional/inspector will have unrestricted access to the property for the purposes of cleaning and inspection of the property.  During the time between reservations, described by the check-out time and check-in time specifically, the guests shall vacate the property so that the designated cleaning professional/inspector can conduct a full reservation clean and inspection in accordance with Koloa Kai’s standard practice.  Guest access to the property shall be restricted specifically to the date/times of the reservation documentation and may not be extended upon verbal or text message confirmation.  

Hawaii Laws require that GET (4.712%), Kauai TAT (3.0%) and TAT (10.25%) taxes apply to the cleaning fee.
