Gorgeous view and so convenient!
The view is true to life! Fab sunsets and ocean views. The location is also perfect! You can walk down to the beach (including amazing snorkeling) and to restaurants. Easy drives to all points west and up to the Lihue area. Also, it's fantastic to not be in a resort development. The apartment is clean and well-equipped. Laundry is a huge plus and snorkel supplies a thoughtful amenity. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Great Poipu Unit!
Was a great little place to stay that overlooks Poipu Beach. A quick walk to watch the turtles every morning/night and within walking to a number of good bites. The staff was super friendly and willing to give us tips on traffic times and when we should visit different parts of the island. Would definitely stay here again! Mahalo for a great stay!

We loved our stay here! Perfect for families. Its just a quick walk to the beach and near lots of great activities. We had everything we needed to prepare meals and get ready each day. We used the beach chairs, umbrella, and snorkel gear almost every day!

I would 100% book this again. Its minutes from the best beaches and food on the island. Clean. Comfortable. Home away from home. The air conditioning was a huge plus.

Very functional, good location and views, and came with some amenities (soap, shampoo, tp, etc) which was convenient, and good communication with hosts. Works well for a couple or small family (two bedrooms but only one bathroom and no dishwasher).

The location was perfect to be able to walk down to Poipu Beach with our 2 year old. The deck was a lovely location to hang out while our toddler took his afternoon nap. The host was responsive to some minor concerns/questions we had during our stay. We would stay here again.

Information provided prior to arrival was thorough and excellent... car rental, directions, restaurants (as well as booking advice) We had everything we needed in the condo. Owners/managers were very nice to deal with and prompt to answer questions. In condo, instructions were very clear.

Really enjoyed our stay! Communication was clear, the spot was equidistant between two major hotels where family members were staying, and amenities were perfect ( we were able to carry on our luggage for a 5-day destination wedding due to the washer/dryer and iron available ). Everything was super clean and exactly what we needed. Smart tv with the ability to log in to my peloton app was also a huge plus-streamed a yoga class every morning. Would definitely recommend it and stay again.

Excellent choice near Poipu Beach
My family stayed at the condo (unit F) during the 2022 Christmas break. The owner provided timely communication and very useful information about the property and surrounding area. The Poipu beach view from the window in the living room is spectacular. Easy parking and convenient drive to beach, ports, botanical garden, shopping, and dining. The kitchen is fully loaded (no dishwasher but not a problem for us). The owner also provides a lot of swimming, snorkeling, and surfing equipment in the basement.

Loved this place.
This place was clean and convenient. Much rather stay here than in a hotel. Plenty of towels for the beach and shower. The view is incredible. Also just a 2-minute walk to the ocean. Would recommend to anyone.

Kauai is in a climate that is considered to be both tropical and within a rainforest category, known for its lush flora and fauna. The environmental factors create a situation where pests (insects) are nearly impossible to eradicate from every property constantly. Many bugs fly in when a door is open at night or are simply small enough to come in through screens on windows and sliding doors. For this reason, Koloa Kai engages regular quarterly pest control in every property to keep the pests at bay. Despite these efforts, it is possible to have pests in your property, and if that happens, Koloa Kai will take all measures possible as quickly as possible to mitigate any issues. Any monetary compensation, refunds or discounts will be given solely at the discretion of Koloa Kai and will only be available in situations where the company agrees that an infestation has occurred. Koloa Kai reserves the right to investigate and provide remediation of any pest issue. The mere presence of pests in the property shall not constitute grounds for monetary compensation.
30-Day Maximum Rentals:
Koloa Kai LLC provides only short-term rentals with a maximum reservation of 30 days. Each reservation is fully documented and provides for a fixed date and time for check-in and check-out, rental rates, associated fees, and all other requirements required by local and state law. If a guest books consecutive reservations where the check-out and check-in dates are concurrent, then a cleaning fee will be assessed, and a Koloa Kai designated cleaning professional/inspector will have unrestricted access to the property for the purposes of cleaning and inspection of the property. During the time between reservations, described by the check-out time and check-in time specifically, the guests shall vacate the property so that the designated cleaning professional/inspector can conduct a full reservation clean and inspection in accordance with Koloa Kai’s standard practice. Guest access to the property shall be restricted specifically to the date/times of the reservation documentation and may not be extended upon verbal or text message confirmation.
Hawaii Laws require that GET (4.712%), Kauai TAT (3.0%) and TAT (10.25%) taxes apply to the cleaning fee.
